The BIG CHEESE...

Last week I purchased a 40 lb block of cheese to cut up and freeze...Cheese food storage, right? I understand that sounds a little crazy but it was really cheap so thought I'd just cut it up and vacuum package it, easy enough. Well, What was I THINKING??!! Do you know how difficult it is to cut an enormous brick of cheese? It's hard...anyway, it was for me. I started at around 11:30 a.m. and finally got done just after 5:00 p.m. So, at least I spent my whole day hacking at this huge cheese. It's actually sounding kind of funny now that it's over, but when I was in the middle of my troubles it was NOT FUNNY! But I managed to keep in all those naughty words I was thinking and didn't even cry once. But I did finally finish, and the spoils...I don't have to pick up cheese at Winco for a year. What was I thinking?

Nice hack job right?

About 1/3 of the way done. I wanted to cry, so I took pictures instead:)
All done...thank heavens!

LOL I'm glad I didn't order the 40 pound block! Thankfully I just split some with my mom. I'm impressed you got through all that in one day though. :) Don't ya just love knowing that you have it though?

Wow, that is impressive. You probably got quite an arm workout. Thanks again for letting Cameron steal your husband last night! It really helped us out.

WOW! That's a lot of cheese. That would be nice not to have to buy cheese every time I go grocery shopping though. Too bad my freezer is full of beef.

SO FUNNY!! I always convince myself to do things like that. I'm especially glad to hear you were able to hold in the tears. The only thing worse than too much cheese...is wet cheese! ;)

Wow! What were you thinking?? :) FYI- when you freeze cheese, it makes it kinda crumbly when it's defrosted. Anyway, your little girl is so cute!!! It's fun when they're babies but I like it so much more when you can actually interact and play together!

That looks like a lot of work! Were you sore the next morning? I think I would be -- good luck!

That's hilarious because we just bought a 40 pounder too! I thought to myself many times to get a picture, but my hands were smeared in cheese...I'm sure you can relate.
It was so good to see you the other day, You are still so beautiful and that little Macy is a doll!
