Allie is SUCH a happy baby. We have been lucky for the third time in a row! She is so smiley and content most of the time. If she ever fusses, she is usually just hungry or tired, and once in a while wants held. We love her so much! Branson is still so soft and nice with her, which completely surprised me. Here she is playing with her toy...

Christmas 2011
Sadly, these are the only two pictures I have from Christmas this year. We took videos, so I kind of forgot to take actual pictures. We had a really fun Christmas. Macie woke us up on Christmas morning and was so excited that Santa had been here! She was telling us that Santa got Branson a bike, but it was actually for her. She kept saying it was for Branson, because she had asked for Princess dresses, not a bike :) She got her dresses, so she was happy. She also got some princess barbies that she was so excited about. Branson wasn't really into it this year, but that made him easy to please. This Santa thing is tricky. We had a nice low key Christmas as usual, and had fun being with our families.

Allie's Blessing
Reed blessed Allie on Dec. 4th. It was a sweet blessing for such a special little spirit. I am always so grateful for the priesthood that Reed holds, it is a huge blessing in our lives. We had a luncheon at our house after the blessing with our family. Everyone brought such good food, and I didn't have any leftovers from the things I made.....that's how you can tell it's Fast Sunday;) As always, I forgot to get pictures of all of us. But I was able to get a few while Allie was still in her dress.

| This is what Allie does for a good portion of the day....sits in her bouncer. I always think she must be so bored, but she is such a good baby. I would LOVE to hold her more than I get to. |

Halloween
I know it's really late for this, but I wanted to catch up on my posts before Christmas. This year was lots of fun because the kids, especially Macie, were able to get excited about it. They got to dress up three time: once for a party that our friends threw, again for our ward party, and again for trick-or-treating on Halloween. Macie was a princess (of course) this year, and Branson was an army man. I slacked a little on the costumes this year and used stuff we already had at home....it was kid of a busy time with Allie being born on the 20th. I aslo kept forgetting my camera, so these are the only ones I have of them all dressed up on Halloween.....

Introducing.......
Allie Ruth Denning! This sweet little girl was born on Thursday, October 20. She was 6 lbs 15 oz, 19 1/2 in long. She's just PERFECT, and we love her to death! The labor and delivery went amazingly well, and Allie has been an angel. We went in to be induced on Thursday morning and I had my first contractions at about 6:45. Everything went quick, and I got my epidural at about 8:30. Allie was born at about 10:30 AM. She came out so easy, so recovery for me has been great. She's been a great little eater, and knew how to do it as soon as she was born! And so far, she is a great sleeper. The first night home she slept through the night, and I woke her up about 5:30 to make sure she was ok. Then she ate and went back to sleep. Next night I woke her up at about 3, and that was the only time she woke up, and again, she went right back to sleep. Since then she wakes up a couple times, but just to eat. She has been such a little angel, and none of us can get enough of her! She is such a sweetheart! I was so nervous about her coming so soon after Branson, but now I can't imagine her not being here, I love her so much. I know it's only the first week, and she might not always be so easy. But I'm so glad she was in the beginning. It makes such a huge difference to be well rested! Macie LOVES her new baby, and is constantly asking to hold her. Branson loves to see "baby", he can't say Allie yet. And he has done really well with her and all the changes. Reed has been amazing and patient with me and the kids and my changing hormones. :) I am so lucky, and feel so blessed to have my little family. Thank you to everybody who has called or stopped by or helped with meals or kids, makes it that much easier. Here is a look at Allie Ruth's birthday........

The Fam......
This is going to sound really bad, but I am finally starting to get excited to meet our new little girl! Which is good, since I'm due in a week from today! I was so worried for so long, that I just stressed about it instead of thinking about what a miracle it really is. I am so thankful for my crazy little family, and am excited to be adding to it again. I'm sure it will be crazy and overwhelming sometimes, but it will be worth it. While I was setting up for a photo session for a friend, I got a few shots of my kids that I thought captured them being them.....makes me laugh.
