Macie Up to Two Weeks

This is our family the day Macie turned two weeks old. She is already growing and changing so much! She now weighs 7 lbs 6 oz and is 20 3/4 in long!

It's hard to get a picture of Macie with her eyes open. This one was taken right when she woke up, so she's still a little groggy.

I still can't believe that I am actually a mom now, it's still so strange.

Macie had a little bit of Jaundice the first week, so she was on the Billie Blanket for a couple days to get her levels down. She looked like a little glow worm for a few days, and it was annoying always having to drag her machine around. But we are so grateful that she is so healthy and hasn't had anything worse. We've been so blessed!

Sleepy Little Girl

Macie hates to have her arms inside her blanket, so when she sleeps she's always doing funny things with them. These pictures show some of the cute things she does when she's sleeping.

Macie Marie Denning was born on Monday, July 28th at 11:58 A.M. She weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and was 20 in long.

This is Macie with her cousins that live next door.

Reed is so cute with our little girl. He holds her whenever he has the chance. So basically all evening long.

The nurses on the night shift liked to make bows for the little girls. Macie came back with this one on her head at 4:00 in the morning. This is the day we brought her home. She was so tired, she slept all day and wouldn't even wake up to eat!

Macie had a bit of a cone head when she was first born, but it went away really fast.

Thank you!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the love and support you have showed to Reed and I. We are so lucky to have so many freinds and family around us! Our family threw us a baby shower last week, and we got everything we need and more! We felt pretty spoiled, but also very loved. So, thank you everyone for your support.

Getting Close!!

I cannot believe how fast time has been going by these last few weeks. Our little girl's due date is rapidly approaching. I am so excited, but at the same time I feel so unprepared! It seems like I have been pregnant FOREVER, and I cannot believe that in a few weeks we will be bringing home our little girl. This Friday I will finish up at work, and Macie(this is her name for now) is due only two weeks after that! It all feels so unreal to me, and I am getting a little nervous about the whole delivery thing. Luckily I have Reed, who isn't nervous, just excited. And has complete confidence in me becoming a first-time mom. I know he will be a great Daddy to his little girl!
