Hogle Zoo and Baby Blessings

This summer we were able to go to Utah for a double baby blessing. My two sisters had their babies close together, and were able to bless them the same day. The day before we went to the Zoo with Our brother-in-law and his girls, and we had a blast. I haven't been there since I was really young!

Branson looks like he's about to pass out in all these pictures. He gets a really red face when he gets hot, and it was pretty darn hot that day. Poor kid.

OUR FAMILY PICTURES 2012

Yay....we finally have some Family pictures with Allie in them! For the last few years we have been doing a family picture swap with Reed's cousin Angie, and I always feel that I am getting the better end of the deal. Thanks Angie, you did a great job, as always!  Here is our family......

Family Picture Time Again.....

For anyone wanting family pictures this fall, please contact me soon and we'll figure out a date. September is already slipping by so fast! Several of you have asked me to do them, but we haven't set a date yet. I'm charging $50.00 this year to pay for a babysitter (if I need one), gas money, camera repairs, and at least 5 hours in front of the computer for each session. I needed this today, right now actually. Slap in the face for me, and totally made me cry....but a good cry :)  I'm not sure what the pictures are about, but the lyrics are so good!

Mother's Day 2012

I had a great Mother's Day this year! I got to see Macie sing in church, and she was pretty funny. "Mommy! Hi!" She was pretty proud of herself, and I loved it! We got to visit most of the grandmas, we have quite a few. I loved all the little cards and gifts and Macie's enthusiasm about the whole thing! I love being a mom! Even though some days are crazy and I dream about the day when my kids are old enough to not need constant supervision, I know I will miss these days! So thanks kids and especially Reed for making it such a special day! I love being your wife/mom :)

On Saturday night our babysitter helped Macie make a couple cards for me,  so nice!

And here is the cute little flower weed bouquet Macie picked for me. No, she didn't find all those weeds in our yard...OK she did :) 

And this is what Reed gave me for mother's day! I've been having so much fun with it! And a new  vacuum (because mine died) which works amazingly!

Macie is on this nest kick. She's always making them. It kind of drives me crazy sometimes because  there are always blankets and pillows being dragged from all over the house and piled in the living room. But I guess there are worse things, so I usually let it slide until dinner time. 

This reminded me of how Uncle Troy sleeps :)

Branson Turned 2!

Branson turned 2 on April 29. We had a little family party for him that night, and he got some awesome new BOY toys and some clothes from me that he didn't even care to finish opening. Here are a few little facts about Branson: He is ALL BOY! Him and Macie couldn't be any more different! It's fun to compare them to each other. I think his favorite word is "RAAAAAWR!" He loves balls, trucks, trains, rocks, motorcycles, and most of all, his yucky little bear. Still hold a special, and big, part of his heart. He's super tough, and only cries for a second when he gets hurt, if he cries at all. Totally different from Macie in this way:) Loves to be outside. Loves to go on rides on the 4 wheeler and lawn mower. Screams.....a lot. Not cry screams, like break your eardrum screams. We're working on it. Every time I call his name or ask him to do something he says, "A minute!" Which means, in a minute. I must tell him that too much. He has a very strong will! He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES milk, and doesn't usually care about food. I have to bribe him to eat bites of food with a reward of milk. His favorite movie is Robin Hood! Whenever he gets to pick a movie it is ALWAYS Robin Hood. It drives Macie crazy, haha. He loves his dad and mids him a lot better than he minds me. He loves to say the prayer. He's learning to sing songs, but mostly just says the last word in the phrase as Macie sings, it's pretty cute. Whenever he toots or poops he blames it on Macie, it's SO FUNNY! "Mamie, toot!" "Mamie, Poo!" He says this as he points at her. Macie doesn't think it's as funny as Reed and I do. He loves Allie and is still so careful with her. He loves Macie too, but fights with her a lot. He usually wins too. He's been pulling her hair and pinching and laying on her and pinning her to the ground....sigh. He is kind of a handful these days:) But he still says "Wuv you." a lot and gives lots of hugs and kisses. That's the only thing that saves him some days. We all love him, he's such a little character! Happy birthday Branson, we are so glad you're in our family!

Alie Ruth.....happy little girl.

Allie is SUCH a happy little girl (most of  the time).  It really is such a  joy to have her in our home! We all just adore her!
